"I wanted to get coffee. I waited 40 minutes to get my coffee, just to ask the guy who checked me out what takes so long. He tells me the espresso machine is downstairs? He said he could get the manager to get a refund. The manager comes out, doesn't apologize or looks at me. I tried to give her my reception and she says she doesn't need it. Then give me money for a purchase made on my credit card. And it wasn't the right amount. They held my $2 tip. If she had looked at the receipt I tried to give her or asked if I wished it money or back to my credit card or had any conversation with me, I am sure that this mistake would not have happened. On the other hand, 2 days ago and the service and the general atmosphere was much better."

"Wes did it again. The food was great as always. We ordered the Chef’s board and our daughter had the crab cakes. The board gave us a decentsized sample of various items from the menu. This is perfect for people like us, as we are always undecided about what to order...we got to try it all! We also had the poutine fries which were amazing, and the beignets were the perfect end to the meal"

"I ate here for the first time with my family last night and it was incredible. I ordered the Root Vegetable and Mushroom Bourguignon with Polenta and it was hands down the best vegan meal I’ve had on the Outer Banks. My family ordered the Steak, Duck, Mussels and Catch of the Day (Tuna) and they all loved their choices. Although we had dessert waiting back at home so I didn’t order any here, there was a vegan apple spice cake as one of the options. Great to have a restaurant with multiple vegan choices for appetizer, entree and a dessert—I will definitely be coming back!
