One of the most delicious curries I've ever had. My partner and I were completely blown away how delicious these curries were. Unbelievable. We even returned for another person the next night when we couldn't survive how amazing the food was. Customer service was also excellent. Warm and friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Indian Mayur:
If you want food poisoning or salmonella, don’t forget to come here. Got the chicken curry last night before boarding 3 flights today- most excruciating experience of my trip. Would not recommend. It’s over priced and the staff is rude, on top of the inevitable vomiting that’ll go down the day after eating here. View all feedback.
Probably the funniest Indian restaurant set up I have seen. A Russian alleged chef and his wife run the business of opening jars and mixing it with pre-cooked meats and whacking them in the microwave. my cats could sick up betetr food than this garbage. Avoid
When visiting Prague I always locate myself in or very near to wenceslas square (Prague 1) I have always struggled to either find an Indian or find a good 1. Mayur is practically on the square and is open lunch and evening times. Obviously food abroad is not the same as at home but I always return to this restaurant as I have never been disappointed. The decor resembles a nice cafe rather than a restaurant but even thou it is still nice enough to take your other half. It's a quiet place with friendly local staff, food is always good but the dishes are a peg hotter than back at home so for example if you like vindaloo at home then order madras here. It normally costs £10 £15 per head.
A small Indian restaurant situated close to Vaclavske namesti with a good service, affordable prices, but average quality of food. The place is rather gloomy and has many typical oriental decorations. I'm not a big expert in Indian food, but my chicken with rice had a very unpleasant taste (maybe because of some sort of spice, but it also felt like some chemical), and I couldn't really enjoy it. While the food selection is medium, the choice of drinks is limited. Except of traditional lassi, they only offer one kind of tea, although it's not that hard or expensive for Prague restaurant to add more Indian teas as an option.
Food was alright. The reason they get a one star is because of the staff and service. I ordered a pepsi and I was given a pepsi that had been expired for 14 months. Server wasn't happy to help when I told him and didn't receive good service after that point
Just finished my food here... it is just ok food. You might find better food in other Indian restaurant in the town. For the cost, it was definitely not worth it.
