This restaurant is excellent! The service is accommodating and attentive. Since moving to St-Sauveur, we have dined here multiple times. Unlike many other restaurants, each visit has been equally excellent. The menu is varied and the portions, while not huge, are generous. The food is sure to delight your taste buds. What Hortense Reilly doesn't like about Restautant Le Raphael:
Told it was pretty full for Saturday...but they might fit us in...the place was half-full. Service, they have an attitude problem. Food somewhat bland, salmon tartar..hard to find the salmon, loaded with aneth. Prices more expensive than on their site. Would not bother going back....Very inconsistent in most aspects. THIS RESTAURANT IS FOR FINE DINNING,,,, very good service everyone smiles and are pleasant to talk with they know trier menu and can help you choice what you like. The atmospher is lounge type and music . Meals are sevred hot and nicely presented, my duck was plainly delicious.and price for quality is reasonable.
We visited on a Thursday night when the restaurant was almost empty, I.e. there were only 2 other tables at the same time as us. The decor is nice and inviting and we were given a friendly welcome. It was downhill from there on.The service was extremely slow and the food bland. My husband ordered the lamb which was tough (at $46 we were expecting better). One of our party had a pasta dish which looked as if it has been standing for several minutes; the sauce on top had nearly all dried out, judging by the time it took to get served, this is probably what happened and it was not very tasty. I had salmon which was ok but quite bland and nothing special. The last in our party had mussels and they certainly were not the best he had ever eaten. He also ask for more fries which never came. Considering the prices, we were expecting better quality of food and service. All 4 of us were disappointed and definitely will not return. Added to that, the cloak room smelt strongly of dampness and we kept hearing crashing noises from the kitchen throughout our meal, whichis not very professional!I failed to understand why the service was so bad considering it was nearly empty.

Great place. The food is awesome and the service on the top level. Their mussel & fries selection is one of the bests I have eaten in a long time. Only thing to keep in mind, the place gets a bit hot when crowded, so ask for a table on the bottom floor, not the top one.
Excellent restaurant ! Accommodating and attentive service. Since we've moved to St-Sauveur, we've dined 4 times. As rarely seen in many restaurants, all 4 occasions were equally excellent. The menu is varied and the portions, while not overflowing, are generous. The food will definitely excite your palate. They also serve (all you can eat except on Saturdays) an excellent variety of mussels. Well worth any detour.
