I'll be nice and say 4 stars because this place is on the rise and up. I get it is a gas station subway and you are busy and have bad days. But about 6 months ago we just stopped going here, even though we're very close to life. What Steve V doesn't like about Subway:
I only had a short period of time on my lunch break, so I called and spoke to Thomas the Assistant Manager at the subway and placed my carryout order. He had a huge attitude problem from the minute he answered the phone which continued when I paid formy sub and left. On the one hand I would drive down in this beautiful gas station 231 when my wife had traveled to Subway, but I gave this one chance a week ago or two and all the staff were kind and friendly. The food was in good form and it was a time of the day that was not busy so that is a good indicator because it is easy to stay fresh when you are busy, but yes. It is a subway in a gas station and you can pick up sodas and snacks, I recommend a jump because I think they work to keep the place a bit more and the staff do a good job!
Nice place to stop gas for the first time. Do not miss the junction from the main road or you missed it. Girlfriend wanted a drink and snacks and inside was clean and well furnished.
I am new in the area, so it was thrilled to find this subway near me in a Shell Station. For the first time I visited service was great and staff friendly. Last couple of times, various employees were in service with a very different attitude. I felt like I wasn't welcome and server hated her job. It regrets me to be there. This is annoying, but I don't blame the new staff for the owners or the subway.
It was ok but when I order I toated sub I would hope it would actually be toasted.
