The staff in the restaurant and hotel bent over backward to please over 90 women staying there for a 4 day convention. I don't know how the owner convinced the staff to smile all the time and deliver on all requests. A real joy to...stay at and we will be back. Food tasted very good! View all feedback.

Spent the night at the motel in a moderate room. In a hurry to get back on the street in the morning, so decided to have breakfast in the attached restaurant. Bad decision. For health reasons, I asked the waitress if the restaurant served completely...milk instead of saying yes or no, I was recommended to serve only 2%. This was delivered with an rude, almost confrontative attitude. Since I was not arguing or confron... View all feedback.
The food is low quality and over priced. The hamburger was the same consitency as a hot dog. It used to be a good place to eat, not anymore.

My cousin and I stayed one night at the motel; average but it was OK. The restaurant was a different story. Waaaay too many entrees to excel at anything. The veal oscar (I know, I know, I should have known better) was touted as having a "Bearnaise sauce topped with crab and shrimp." Alas, I could only find one tiny shrimp and I am not sure I ever saw any crab. The sauce was basically a tasteless Hollandaise; no vinegar, no lemon juice (that I could taste,) no tarragon, and no shallots. Hence; NOT a Bearnaise sauce. The veal was a ground veal patty and was drenched in the tasteless sauce. My cousin could not even eat hers. I ate 1/2 of mine as I was starving, but with a good dose of salt. I guess I was expecting more, but should have known better. Needless to say, we did not eat breakfast there and went to Denny's instead where we got a decent meal. Suggestion to the management: cut back the number of entrees to a manageable number so that you can concentrate on quality. Or; send an SOS to Gordon Ramsey.
Spent the night at the motel in a mediocre room. In a hurry to get back on the road in the morning, so decided to have breakfast at connected restaurant. Bad decision. Due to health reasons I asked the waitress if the restaurant served whole milk - instead of saying yes or no, I was advised they served 2% only. This was delivered with a rude, almost confrontational attitude. Since I was don't argue or confront service staff I gently tried to explain that 2% milk had more sugars than I could tolerate. She continued to stare rudely at me, and since I was in a hurry and did not have time to go searching for another restaurant. The restaurant appears to be clean and the food is passable diner food. Would I recommend this restaurant if you are traveling - no!
We have been going here for years brunch, lunch and dinners and have always had excellent food at great prices. Most plates are enough for two meals, great value!
