"As far as Japanese spots go, this one is pretty good for being in the middle of the miami suburbs pricing is decent and options are varied and you'll find the usual here. Not the best or most authentic but it's a great neighborhood restaurant and the layout is fun and very Japanese."

"Attending a meeting next door and saw the sports grill, wanted something to eat. My first time and wow. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially manGabe with slim on the side (lol) who recommended the wings (special grill). The ribs were the bomb, the meat fell off the bone. I would definitely be coming back."

"We stopped by Shiver's BBQ for lunch and ordered sandwiches (powder, brisket and a Hickory BBQ hamburger). All were delicious, especially the pulled pig. It's excellent! There was also a very good selection of pages, and each side was comfort food best. We enjoyed BBQ beans, hush puppies, cheesy hashbrown casserole, cornbread souffle', and jalapeno cheese grottes. Each side tasted homemade and full of taste. Shiver is not a beautiful place. Guests are placed on long picnic style tables with rolls of paper towels and grill sauce. So, leave your chic clothes at home and simply enjoy Shiver's for what it is: great food in a very casual, comfortable environment. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the prices were appropriate for the quality and quantity of food. We like lunch here!"
