"Awesome! What an amazing gem of a restaurant and bar. Finally this side of the world has got a funky, quirky road shop. Decor, Vibe, service and food was excellent. These guys have done a super job with their decor and menu too. I stopped over briefly and only had time to try their chilli poppers. They were massive and came with a mayonnaise sauce which had some chives inside. Absolutely delicious and a great side sauce for the poppers which had cream cheese inside.. I cant wait to visit again and next time I'm bringing family and friends with to enjoy this awesome venue and definitely to try more of their menu. Love this place!"

"Driving via the coastal route from Cape Town to to Kleinmond is absolutely worth it if you end up enjoying a seafood platter for one at Gringos. This rustic place provides superb food. Wow! Food is scrumptious, super tasty, service is excellent and the view is breathtaking. Please come hungry and palate the muscle pot as a great appetizer. Enjoy the outdoors, breathe in the fresh air. "It is a very quaint, slightly old fashioned place with a cute selection of big block-mounted photographs of the local celebrity penguin couple, dassies and other natural treasures. The menu also has some special arty touches and enough reasonably priced choices. Our waitress was patient and friendly. The hake and chippies were perfectly prepared and pLEntiful, with added 'geelrys ' to ensure no chance of any remaining hunger! Deserts were delicious too!!"
