"You know how it is...you have a great experience at a venue, your expectations are high but your next visit just doesn't live up to your memory. NOT SO, at Peckish. For lunch or just coffee...solo, with a mate, with the family...it's always good. The two person tables at the front are a bit tight at lunch and perhaps they could switch up the menu more often, but this is nitpicking. Highly recommend!"

"Ordered seafood feast for two cheese garlic bread, generous portion, all seafood was fresh. Best octopus ever!!! Also love the squid, so tender. We were full, couldn't finish, couldn't have dessert, did take the leftover food away. Highly recommend"

"Had breakfast here 3 days in a row. The proprietor is a lovely Scottish man who is friendly but unobtrusive and who makes the best zucchini fritters I have ever tasted (served with a wonderful pesto and roast tomatoes). The coffee is excellent and the service unobtrusive, swift and congenial. Very much worth a visit (and you will go back)."
