The Blu Violet is a lovely space with a terrace that has spectacular views of Providence. We went in time to enjoy the fireworks at India Point Park nearby, and it was absolutely lovely. The service was solid, although we had to wait to get our silverware, and while the menu was limited that specific day (July 2nd) everything was delicious. Nice view and ambiance. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The hostess was not at all warm and made us feel unwelcome. We had drinks and some appetizers. The Eggplant Chips were delicious I 'd definitely go back for more! The Charcuterie Board was described on the menu as Chefs Selection, Seasonal Garnish, Grilled Bread. Great atmosphere with music to match. View from the balcony was also great.
I had an out of town guest that I wanted to take somewhere fun with good food, this place nailed it! DJ was awesome and food/ beverages were delicious
