What Adda Sokona likes about Island House:
I passed by this place so I decided to check out the reviews..so glad I came here. I got the oxtails, rice and peas and cabbage and WOW!! It was sooo good! The oxtail gravy was on point and exactly how I like it. Usually when I get oxtails other places the gravy is a little salty so I asked for light gravy, now I wish I would’ve gotten more gravy on my rice lol! I will definitely eat here again!! What mia madison doesn't like about Island House:
Horrible service. Ordered just 1 plate and somehow they added and charged for a mac and cheese as well. I went back in to get my money back and they had me go back outside to get the dish and bring it back in. Very gross and unsettling that they take food back after brought all the way outside, not to mention it was their mistake ?? It’s so hard to find good clean restaurants you can trust.. Wont be coming back here View all feedback.
Steak and salad was great: Meat was savory tasted and tender. Dressing is good amount and taste (sometimes I got too much or too salty…but here is not! Amazing.
