What Jessica Cummins doesn't like about Rosie’s Cantina:
You can make better food with leftovers in your fridge. As other reviews mention, the burrito bowls are mostly iceberg lettuce with maybe a teaspoon of rice and beans. Not filling. The only saving grace is that the price wasn’t outrageous.Vegetarian options: Bowls are vegetarian View all feedback.
The best breakfast Burrito I had until the date!! The combination of egg, onions Jalapeños was just so delicious. And the tortilla was so soft and delicious! Definitely will be over when in Provincetown!
Take out place. Al Pastor tacos were the best out of the 3 we tried. Carnitas was solid. Chicken was overcooked.
The best Mexican food in Provincetown! This place will be a big hit so get ready to stand in line hurry before the wait is too long! The taste of everything has that wonderful Mexican flavor we all have come to expect. Rosie’s will need a bigger location to handle the volume. Good news spreads fast and I expect the town crier to be on this soon. I’m so happy to have Mexican food again !
I tried two different tacos and a tamale, and all were excellent! From the list of available fillings I selected pastor (marinated pork) for one taco, and chorizo (a mildly spicy Mexican sausage) for the other. Each one had my choice of meat, with chopped, fresh cilantro and onion tucked into a double layer of thin, lightly fried tortillas. With a squeeze of fresh lime juice, I was in heaven. The tamale was a little spicy, just the way I like it, and it was filled with a nice chunk of tender, juicy chicken breast rolled into the middle. I had never had a tamale like this one, a daily special that sold out twice that day, and I hope to find it there again. Walk-up, counter service restaurant with covered outdoor seating in the center of Provincetown, yet with a mellow, unrushed vibe. Burritos, enchiladas and all of your favorites, and new foods to try. Authentic recipes from Rosie, the matriarch of the family, combined with very reasonable prices and quick, friendly service, make this new PTown eatery a real gem.
MMMM ... loved this spot for Mexican food. Great food, fresh and plentiful servings.
