"Weekday lunch. Nice location, outdoor seating in a plaza, decent house wine, ok bread, but none of the small dishes we ordered were good. Risotto with shrimp had a sour taste, asparagus were very overcooked and just not pleasant, fried calamari were served only just warm and over-salted. We did not finish anything. Had the impression no one in the kitchen cared too much what was sent out. Service was distracted, one dish was not what we ordered and that not due to language problems, just wrong."

"An easy styled restaurant in a scenic location in the old town of Caceres. We ate there 3 nights, as we rated it the best restaurant find on our 9 day holiday in Spain. Excellent value menu del dia for €10 per person. Night 1: wonderful food and service. Night 2 : good. Night 3 : Very good. The waitress there deserves special mention as she raised the standards on night 1 and night 3."
