After 3 days at the Pondy, we were so happy to discover A2B and jumped into the hotel to revitalize our taste buds with our favorite South Indian cuisine.
As with every A2B outlet, the taste was just right. Delicious in their own way. But this place is super crowded. Be it weekdays or weekends, it is full of people, mostly tourists.
I would suggest going early to find a place. And parking is out of the question.... View all feedback.
What Yadu Ratta doesn't like about Ruchira:
Sad is the only word. Not to forget some bad attitude by the staff and over priced menu. Reached here to have some good southern thali and ended up with an over priced mini thali and that too with parts of it missing. Tried luck with a very expensive plate of pani puri and equally disappointed. View all feedback.

Ruchira is a buzzing restaurant above a2b and had such gathering that people had to share tables. We went here for a dinner and ordered one masala dosa and one north Indian platter. The masala dosa was huge and was served with a variety of chutnis and is sufficient enough for one. The veg platter had the usual combination but was not as delicious compared to the actual north Indian platter. The taste can be worked upon. Our cheque was Rs. 274/-. The place is good enough for south Indian meals. thegreystory.wordpress.com
There are many A2B outlets in Bangalore so I found it to be a safe and trustworthy place. Located on a main road, the place is quite big. Tourists can definitely ask for directions as it is a locally famous restaurant Come to eat - 1. Parotha - it was really tasty, the parotha was a good size and was roasted appropriately The accompanying vegetable curry was also delicious. 2. Curd rice - it was fresh and cold the way I like it and the amount was sufficient too. 3.dosa - definitely one of A2B's most famous dishes, it was really good, nicely roasted. 4.idly vada - it is a standard south indian food and they kept the taste, the vada was not oily and idly was soft. The place is crowded most of the time ... there is usually a waiting time, still the place is huge and can accommodate a lot of people. If you are looking for a safe place where you can count on hygiene and good taste, come to this place!

The quintessential South Indian food joint which was right across the hotel we were staying at. We did try a few of their dishes. It was mostly bordering on the authentic due to some North Indian influence nowadays. Some of their sweets were quite authentic though!! Prices here are also on the borderline to be a poor man’s delight. However if in this part of the world, a visit is always recommended.
