"Nice beachside restaurant with stunning views of the lake. It has a deck to take excellent photos. During the night it lights up with LED color lights. Speciality, seafood, tapado (typical food of Puerto Barrios) has own parking. Lancha transfers to another El Viajero restaurant on the sweet river. They accept cards."

"Wow. What a sunrise. Very comfortable rooms. The owner has a lot of local knowledge and will help with any of your needs. Staff and restaurant fits very nicely with the astetic. and they have dogs!!! Would love to stay again."

"Was a really nice afternoon with the family. I ate Tapado, it 's a traditional dish from that area, a very heavy soup. Delicious but not suitable for all stomaches. If you take it, don 't drink beer, lemonade or any cold drink. Believe me, it 's Heavy as hell, it will only pass through with a little help of rum, Scotch or tee or coffee."
