"The clams taste pretty nice, but that's it, that's the only positive experience we had tonight. The rest of the food was just way too salty. Also ordered the pasta and pork chop, the pasta was fine, other than being salty, ofc ... Our server took the other order wrong, but that's fine, just needed to sit for another 45 minutes to get the pork chop cooked : , and it came out pretty dry and tough as expected. Throughout the entire visit, our server was not collecting the empty plates at all... We have been to the black cypress a couple times, but this is the worst."

"We had dinner at the Lodgepole last Saturday and enjoyed every minute of it! We were welcomed by Bryson, who really embodied the chill, charming and welcoming vibes of the Lodgepole. The dishes were amazing (first time leaving without any doggy bags because we just couldn’t stop eating), we had the pappardelle and the duck and both were just really well-balanced. The ambiance, warm service of the entire crew and the flavourful dishes make this our local favourite and will probably also end up in our top 3 of all restaurants we tried during our coast-to-coast road trip!"
