If you're in search of authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine, El Dorado is the place to go! Their tamales are the best I've ever had, and the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. I will definitely be coming back again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Dorado Mexican Grill:
This restaurant is terrible. The food is not authentic Mexican and the service is poor. They even add a service tip automatically to your bill. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a true Mexican culinary experience. View all feedback.
As my first time from this place, the experience was great. I called and ordered my order for the pickup. the woman who took my order was very professional and took her time to explain to me my different decisions. when I got my food, it was amazing to eat. the part was great for the price. I know for one thing that I will definitely order from here. great work, young.
We've been searching for a great wet burrito and finally found it! We also tried the taco taquito plate which were also delicious. Service was fast and friendly.
Hubby and I went there for dinner tonight. We were actually interested in going to Elena’s (same Dollar Tree mall as this restaurant on Cross Street), but since they now close at 3 pm, we decided to try El Dorado Mexican Grill (which not only has a website but a very good one at that). To start with, our server Alejandra was very sweet and attentive. We loved the homemade salsa and chips. Hubby had the Shrimp Avocado Salad—a whole Hass avocado was sliced over the top—12 shrimp and very fresh veggies. I had the Chicken Fajita Salad, which was awesome, even the tortilla bowl—which I don’t normally eat—was unlike the usual no-flavor bowl… it was delicious and crunchy. The chicken was moist, the vegetables were cooked just right, and the sauce and sour cream really put the eating experience over the top! We’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in different cities and states, but this may have been the very best we’ve ever tasted.
With the exception of the beans and rice, little bland, the food was the best Mexican I have had in the area. Went there two days in a row loved it so much. Only minor complaint was the beans and rice need some flavor. Loved it.
Food was garbage, quesadilla had no cheese. Chips are plain and no salt on them. Food came wet and the flautas we ordered still had a tooth pick in it from holding them together while cooking. Never will go here again. Paid $40 for bland wet food. Go to Habeneros in Ft Myers.
