What mekydro likes about The Royal Oak:
This rather unassuming pub was a 'chance find ' for us. We were travelling west on the nearby A31 and decided to pop in to Bere Regis for lunch. Google search directed us to another pub which was closed, but we passed the Royal Oak on our way there. They were able to accommodate us as 'walk ins ' and we enjoyed a very tasty and nicely cooked lunch wild boar faggots were on the menu! View all feedback.

We were staying at the Old Mill B&B so were able to walk here for dinner. The service was very friendly, the food was delicious, especially the Dorset apple cake dessert. View all feedback.
Stopped by on my way to Plymouth with some mates, and we all ordered the burger which was tasty. The staff made us feel very welcome. Definitely worth a visit!
