"This is a very friendly traditional pub, much favoured by residents of Royal Wootton Bassett. It's position just off the high street, near the town's famous old town hall which is raised up on pillars, is one of continuity with local history you can count on it to provid you with a traditional English pub experience. They have just updated their menu, this caters for all tastes, old and new and those with food allergies. They have an excellent choice of drinks, from cider, beer, spirits to a variety of modern coffees. Parking is not a problem, there is a large council car park available just around the corner outside the Sainsbury's supermarket, which is just a 5 minutes walk away, or you maybe lucky to find a free space on the street. Recommend a visit, for a drink or a meal. Am sure you'll receive a warm Wiltshire welcome."

"Went in during the incredible April heatwave over the Easter weekend. Everything looked clean, and well maintained. We've come in before, early last year and things have definitely improved since then which is nice to see. We were served by a man with dyed silvery/blonde hair and glasses. He was very polite and interacted with my daughter (2yr old) which was nice. I normally have a mint mocha chip, but as it was boiling I didn't really know what to have and was recommended a Chocolate Frappe with a shot of coffee. Server clearly knows that parents are in there for the caffeine! Found the seats, tables and highchairs to be very clean and in good condition. The decor was the standard coffee#1 look and feel. Rustic. It's very relaxing and gives off a great ambience for a coffee shop. Staff kept on top of clearing tables very quickly and were interacting with customers which is nice to see. Coffee#1 is definitely one of my favourite coffee shops, I'm really not sure how Costa beat them for coffee shop of the year."
