We went as a big group to La Poule d’Or and had a very fun time. Service was excellent, and the food was good, though more expensive than other local restaurants. The head chef spent considerable time with us tellingly jokes and making us feel at home which was a nice touch. View all feedback.

Have been waiting ages to go to this auberge and had high hopes of lovely authentic french food, Michel Trauma came around to every table and introduced himself and i thought that was a lovely touch. #1... Be well aware. This is the Auberge/Bistrot NOT the 2 star restaurant. Do not think you are going to get a low priced version of the gastronomic restaurant...
