"We visited this restaurant on the last night of our holiday and a really great nightThe service was very friendly and attentive. The waiter came through with a platter of fish and described each one, and also the meat dishes were described.I opted for a rib eye steak which was perfectly cooked. My son had the mixed grill which was awesome. The value was really good under €160 for a two course meal with drinks including a bottle of wine for 5 adults.A complimentary glass of fizz was offered, and a taxi to and from was part of the service. Can't wait to try this place again"

"What a fantastic experience! The service was out of the top drawer . My daughter and I visited on a rainy, icy cold day, which made the location even more beautiful. The food was fit for royalty. I started with the pear salad with crisp pancetta and shavings of the most delightful cheese. My main was also something to boast about the beef. It was tasty and tender. Desert was a little too sweet, not my favourite, that was the apple pudding. I found the adltmosphere was welcoming, the waitress was professional and tentative. I would highly recommend this location for a wedding, special meal date or celebration. Well done to all."

"Update 22/04/22 Back again and beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff. A roaring peat fire welcomed us on a cold night. Starters excellent, lamb and steak excellent as well as monk fish. Unfortunately the 2 dishes of seabass came out luke warm and had to be sent back so unsure what happened. Its still a wonderful restaurant and we will return. Enjoyable evening. Wonderful food in a family restaurant. Beautiful setting and staff service is excellent without imposing. A must visit. Great quality and worth the price."

"Went here as this place seems to get a lot of decent reviews, starters came quickly! My main course was a bit confusing but my fault for not asking the waitress what it was !! Basically they bring a few different types of cooked meats to you and they slice it off for you, I didn’t like the mini pork ribs, there was hardly any meat on them, some of the beefs were ok but some were micro thinly sliced and not cooked to how I prefer it, you do get fries and another side with it though, my wife had Salmon which was lovely, quite a pricey place but it fills you up"
