This unassuming grab-and-go eatery offers tasty, authentic, homemade dishes without any fancy frills. The open kitchen allows you to see the fresh, high-quality ingredients used in every dish. The Bosnian Burger was massive and incredibly delicious. The friendly cook was happy to suggest dishes and engage in conversation. I will definitely be returning for more! View all feedback.
What Blanca Frami doesn't like about Bosna Express:
that is ingenious, but the prices rose up, gone too high. I'd eat here three times a week. a pljeskavica, costs over $15, I remember if it was just $8, double the price without reason. which is not worth the price they sell at all. the meat, to the ingredients, does not cost so much. very unhappy. djerdan in astoria, makes much better eating, very authentic Balkan food, and the prices are better. makes no sense to be... Very fresh authentic Serbian pljeskavica. No frills, quick and really good.
It is a really small but cozy place, excellent for picking up, everything seems really fresh, I ordered a chicken over rice and the cook grilled it on site. They have a beautiful selection of dishes and various flavors that I have seen in the neighborhood. The taste was really good. And the part was quite small, but good anyway
Tasty great “Bosnian style burgers”. It is super filling, but quite expensive for what it is. Over $16 if you pay with the card. It's worth trying.
This small restaurant is a great spot to grab a bite to eat. All the food looks fresh and is made right on the premises. I highly recommend trying the Bosnian burger, it is delicious. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes.
The pictures don't do it justice. Wow. You have to visit at least once. The chef is incredibly talented and humble. He truly enhances the dining experience. Everything was perfect. Couldn't ask for more.
