I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I ordered a BLT and sweet potato fries and was impressed by the delicious taste, freshness, generous portion, and friendly service. Although I am not familiar with the owners, I know a good BLT when I taste one. The sandwich had the perfect balance of ingredients, with just the right amount of lettuce and plenty of bacon. The sweet potato fries were the best I have eve... View all feedback.
What Frank Barroso doesn't like about Petey's Burger:
Not particularly impressive. Just your average burger place. I only gave it a try because I happened to be in the vicinity. Personally, I think there are better burger spots in the same price range. However, I did find their onion rings to be quite enjoyable. View all feedback.
The best burger I ever had. Try the Petey melt with Cajun-Fries. You won't regret it.
It was very good food. And calm environment. Ordered the double cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and soda. Reasonable NYC pricing. Would come here again and try out their special burgers.
Delicious burgers. Delicate meat. Very fair prices. Good quality ingredients. Such a gem in LIC.
Burgers and fries are generally pretty good. I especially enjoy having the cajun fries. I typically pick up from here and I’d recommend ordering via phone (vs. third party apps) as that’ll cost you less. Never had to wait too long and staff is generally friendly. Small indoor seating area is available.
I give them 3 stars because of their service. Me and my coworker walked in. I ordered first, I asked if fries came with the Southwestern burger, I was told no that I had to buy the fries separately. My coworker ordered a combo. When I looked, the combo came with a drink and fries. Now, yes some of it is my fault because I didn't view the menu in its entirety( I was trying to be considerate to the people behind me and I was on lunch, time was of the essence) but a good cashier and great customer service, the cashier should have told me or even asked if I wanted a combo when I was ordering. Anyway, the Southwestern burger was amazing, better than I thought it would be. If you don't like tomatoes, ask to have them removed, the Cajun fries were good, but the seasoning was very powdery and made it slightly hard to get down once you've eaten a 1/3 of your bag. But I will go back, I just know to read the menu completely and ask questions next time.
