"Lovely home cooked food. My partner and I went for dinner and loved all the little touches of welcoming your guests. Food was good and yummy and the views were so so good. Loved supporting local and helping out in some ways. Will return for a night stay."

"What a fantastic cafe in Milford Sounds! Although they’re the only game in town, they have great service, and more importantly excellent hot food with a wide variety at a very reasonable price. To be honest they should charge more than $5 for their hot chips and wedges it’s delicious and well deserved after a cold day out on a cruise."

"The Trading Post was one of my favourite dining experiences in New Zealand. It is in a picture perfect location near Lake Wakatipu and the Humboldt Mountains. Once you step inside, you'll feel immediately welcomed with the cosy decor and the welcoming hospitality of the stuff. We tried their oat biscuit, banana bread and the carrot cake, however my favourites were the latter two as they were both lightly sweetened with warming spices. Best of all they had such a soft and melt in your mouth texture! The coffee was also a delight and some of the strongest we had on our trip. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely return here."
