Menu isn’t labeled but they were very nice and walked us through everything. Drunken noodles, some sort of sweet beef dish, and veggies!

"The all you can eat experience is a good treat. The meats and sides are of a very high quality and the staff look happy. You can see and taste the passion they have for what they do. To start they give you some sides like salsa, bean stew, garlic oil rice, a salad and some sauces. Then the meats come around. It is best to get small pieces of each so you can try everything. My two favourites were: the slow cooked beef short ribs they just melt in your mouth. The grilled pineapple with cinnamon sugar. It is juicy and a perfect dessert. I personally like to squeeze some lemon juicy on top to cut through the sweetness. I didn't get all the name of the 3 4 staff who helped me with food. They were all lovely. Wasa was helpful and attentive."

"Tried to call them to make a last minute reservation and got voicemail. Hung up,,, and a few minutes later THEY called me back. Add a star just for that call back. Managed to accommodate us for dinner. This place is tucked in and not obvious from the street. Very friendly staff and service. Loved the food highly recommend the duck parfait, salmon (really really melted in your mouth , lamb (which seems to be a staple in NZ as expected? Highly recommend for some fine dining."

"The staff seemed known about celiac disease minus the waiter instruction re 'es depends on how celiac you are, whether you can have our deep fried foods'. Lol So, celiac, don't eat the deep fried foods as they don't have separate frit. They had a few options on the menu, not much, but I was sold at pig bell! It was Asian style and delish, along with seasonal vegis. The waiter made sure to inform the kitchen of celiac disease. Food was delish and I had no problems."

"Their ice cream is by far the best. Had dark chocolate hokey pokey Great combination! Not forgetting, they gave big scoops. Well worth for the price! Queue might be long since it's a tourist attraction, but it didn't take long for me to get my order. Staff are friendly and welcoming too! Definitely a MUST GO if you are at Queenstown. FYI, they do sell chocolates and other food too!"

"My friends and I went out and we were dying to find a different place to eat. We ended up at Frankton Tavern. I'm so glad we did! We had a great time on all counts. The food is amazing and the place has a great atmosphere. What amazed us all was the skills of the chef there. Not only is the guy's food beyond delicious, but he is really skilled and fast. If I'm not mistaken his name is Mike. He seemed to be doing all alone. How he does all that on his own I have no idea. The place was great, but to tell you the truth they owe it big time to, actually the most important person in a restaurant: The Chef. We'll definitely spread the word and come back more often. I recommend everyone in town to go check it out. It's really worth it."
