"Stopped into this location early in morning before heading back home. Was greeted quite promptly and served quite fast. As usual the coffee was very fresh and good, and our morning muffins were amongst the freshest we had ever had."

"The Cariboo Hotel used to have excellent food. Well, it's not like the good old days that's for sure. My entire meal was awful. I ordered chicken souvlaki. The chicken was bone dry, the greek salad had NO dressing, the rice was aking to packaged Uncle Ben's and was mushy besides. the tzatziki tasted nothing like it should, the pita bread was instead garlic toast and came toasted only on one side. What a disapointment. The waitress, while somewhat snippy did take the meal off the bill (not that I ate my meal...I left hungry). She seemed personally offended that we complained and stated that "No one ever complains here". Over the next few days we heard many people agree that the food was lacking there. I did go a second time since all my friends were going there. I hesitantly ordered a burger and fries. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't great. I was hungry and I ate it. But overall, the Cariboo isn't the great place it once was...now it has good memories and not so good food. A disappointment to be sure."

"I saw a huge sign for a big Mac Bacon, so we came in to see what it was about. This Mickey D 's is like oh so many. It had about four kiosks for the digital order and a woman running the toes. It seemed to take a long time to get the order, but when it arrived, it was hot. I must say I was a great underwhelm with the G.B.M.B. I feel that it is a step in the right direction to compete with other burgers with larger burgers. I had a great tasting in France, which was really at the point. If they sold him in Canada, it would be FIRE! I could go back to this food, but maybe for a fillet fish."

"Stopped at WINGS near the end of a 14 hour drive with 6 kids, 2 of whom are 3 month old babies, and was about 34°C outside.Restaurant was nice and cool inside, we got seated instantly. Food was incredible. Bacon mac and cheese in a cast skillet definitely worth a try.Our waiter was Brandon, he was around when we needed him (which was often), but didnt hover or bother us.After our hot meals and cold drinks, our waiter took a few dirty bottles into the kitchen and gave them a rinse with boiling water (as we were out of clean, sterile bottles) totally saved us.Awesome service, above and beyond.Food was great, felt like prices were still pre covid craziness. Kids meals with an entree, side dessert and drink for $10.Atmosphere was awesome, perfect temperature for a hot day, gave us lots of space to move around and let the kids be kids.Will definitely be going again,Thanks Brandon!"
