Veggie N 'Café is the place where I lemon un-chicken nuggets and fried mushrooms with spicy sweet sauce (not sure if they do this crispy eel as most Chinese restaurants in the country). I loved lemon chicken from Northpark during my non-vegan days and they have the next. I enjoy her little food more than the food. Here I get broth cubes, mushroom balls and other vegan essentials for my pantry. They also sell a good selection of mosquitoes. Apart from these two dishes and their fried rice, most of their offers are not vegan and/or not unforgettable.
Tucked away in Quezon City, Daily Veggie N' Café is a haven for vegetarians. If you love the taste of meat but hate the cruelty and cholesterol that comes with it or if you want to introduce meat-eaters to some flavorful and fabulous flesh-free fare, this could be the place for you. Try the curry (on its own or with noodles), the sweet-and-sour nuggets, and the sizzling fillet. For more veg restos, visit: [hidden link]
We are glad to discover this restaurant. Ordered dishes to bring to the temple as offering.
I've been a regular customer of Daily Veggie for years and know the owners well...
The best vegetarian food I have eaten in the Philippines.
