The Fish Shack is in a good location at the Wannanup Marina.It serves fish and chips that can be eaten in the marina area, very relaxing water and boat views.Unfortunately the day we went the Fish shack was been run by three young people, with poor communication and cooking skills.II ordered bay calamari and Caesar salad.What I got was calamari from frozen packet to hot oil,and a poor garden salad.The young man who prepared the meal was pleasant and apologetic when I queried the salad.He said he had tried to contact his boss about the lack of ingredients for the salad but to no avail.The larger of the two young women. said it was a Caesar salad because the little plastic tub of dressing said Caesar. Her comments were made with a rude and arrogant attitude.She then after discussing the missing ingredients said Caesar salad does not contain any cheese and said "I know what I am talking about" Her salad did also not contain bacon and croutons .This would not normally be a problem but the argumentative manner of the young woman and the refusal to accept the poor food back for a refund, was nor acceptable.I eventually received a refund after talking to the Marina Manager. The poor training and communication skills of the apparently unsupervised young people certainly leaves an opportunity for improvement at this establishment.

I tried a crispy dish with a delicate batter that perfectly complemented the moist fish inside, creating a unique and delicious combination that I had never tasted before.
