Gioja Lounge - QUINTO DI TREVISO

The food was ok (limited vegetarian options but I can move past that) the wine was nice but the service... wow. I write this review as I sit waiting to ask for our bill. We finished our meals over half an hour ago and are sat with empty plates and wine glasses in front of us. The waitress only delivered my glass of wine after being prompted mid way through our meal. No apologies and we are now being ignored as I type. Unless you want to be completely ignored, I would not recommend.

Located in the BHR Hotel, the Bär cannot be missed as you enter. The evening starter is usually the Prosecco or Campari spritz which is quite refreshing after a long day. They also serve some nuts and or chips and the bar staff make your visit enjoyable.

This was a wonderful buffet lunch, with a wide variety of salads and cold meats. There was also a choice of two hot meals as a second course, and a delicious tiramisu with a choice of fruits for desert. It also included chilled water for us all, and a cup of coffee to complete the meal. The service was efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money and excellent quality!

The bar team are slow and methodical, you will be waiting a while for drinks. The place is comfortable enough but has no real soul, its part of the BHR hotel
