We had an excellent experience at the restaurant. Our server, Chris, did a great job and the spare rib special was delicious. The charcuterie board featured locally produced goat cheese, and the salad was excellent and large enough to share between two people. The quality of the food and portion sizes were both impressive. What ConnieG doesn't like about Butcher Barrel Gastropub:
The food and ambiance was good. I was disappointed to see the menu at the restaurant had higher prices than what was on the online menu. When I asked the waitress. She said it was an old menu. They need to make sure to update their online menu. Many people view the online menu before going to the restaurant View all feedback.
The Urban Cowboy Steak is incredible and has been perfectly cooked, and the infused butter was delicious. Super friendly staff and excellent old fashion. I'll be back again and again.
Celebrated my wife's birthday. They had great gluten-free options to choose for them. We had the beet and goat cheese salad. Her duck was the scallops that had a little kick and very nice curry taste. I went with the **** who was excellent. They even had a crust less cheesecake with apples, perfect for the cool season. Our waiter Juan was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Will be back.
Great dinner. Had the fried beet salad. It was delicious. Urban Cowboy Steak with cauliflower pure was very good. Will definitely be back.
We were greeted by Juan for our 5:00 dinner reservation and sitting immediately. This restaurant uses the YELP! App for bookings and cancellations. Juan immediately left us with menus and took our drinks orders. We both ordered the beet salad and the boneless ribey. The salad was delicious, but as Juan warned us, a salad would have fed us. But that's okay, we'll eat the rest tomorrow! My wife ordered her ribeye (medium) with the lubricated cauliflower. She loved both. I ordered my ribeye (medium) with garlic potatoes. Both steaks had a perfect lake, were very juicy, tender and perfected. At 14 ounces there was a lot to take home. The side vegetables, a squash, onion and sweet potato medal have been seasoned for me a little bit much for my wife. We were at 17:00, enjoyed a good meal. Had excellent service and went at 18:00.
We dipped into the restaurant this evening and took this chance to check out the new menu. We ordered meatballs, salmon and chicken as our entrees and no one was disappointed. The soup was oyster Rockefeller which was delicious. We sampled the baked brie which was beautifully presented and tasty. If you're able to stop in and sample the menu I don't think that you will be disappointed.
