"We were spontaneously in the Klosterschänke today. The man chose the restaurant and I must say it was a very good choice. There is a very nice beer garden and since the weather was still great today, we sat outside. It is also great that there is a small playground for the Kiddies. Our children weren't with us, but it's great anyway. We have always thought about coming to Sunday brunch. I'm going to dinner. The menu is small and fine and there are also seasonal dishes on an extra card. It is also very large that the allergens were shown at each court. So I was able to make my choice as a gluten allergy disease. I had the big salad with roasted salmon and feta, and the man had the carving with spices and fries. Everything was tasteful and delicious! Prices are moderate and very good. All in all a Kleinod in the middle of Dresden. We'll be back."

"We had a great day in Dresden and decided to complete it with a rooftop dinner at Moritz . Great service that makes you feel immediately welcome. Nice view on the Frauenkirche . The menu offered a selection of 3 to 5 courses with nice veggie choices all well paired with excellent wines of good quality . Really worth while stepping 50 metres away from the Neumarkt and go for dinner in this restaurant."

"Very nice ambience and attentive waiters who were often at the table. The food came very fast despite the time of shock. Price performance is appropriate. The portions are very rich and delicious. We'll be back."

"A very noble restaurant, very suitable if you want to eat a really good steak (according to my fellow eaters). The ambience is really nice and the staff friendly. A star trigger because there are vegetarian dishes, but no suitable supplements to them. If you offer meat alternatives for a broader range, I would also have liked to have been happy about a completely consistent dish. Otherwise definitely worth a visit if you have the necessary cash."

"The first thing that strikes you on arrival at Genuss-Atelier is the ambience. The raw brick interior and subtle lighting, together with the division of the space into rooms with cut-away walls housing about four tables each give the impression of being in a hospitable,...cosy space. As inveterate foodies, there was little doubt that we were going to order the surprise menu, but how many courses? The waiter was kind enough to inform us which of the courses were vegetable, fish, meat, or sweet. The three of us ordered 1 X 6-course menu, 1 X 5-course with duck liver, and 1 X 5-course with truffles. Overall we were stunned by how superb the food was. The restaurant threw in several little bonuses, so we actually had 8 or 9 courses. I thought each and every course was absolutely delicious. Combinations of flavours that I have never tasted before, with a freshness that stimulated the palate. There were two minor disappointments, both for my friend who ordered the six courses: (1) his extra course was sorbet and sparkling wine, which was great except that it was served fifth, just before the dessert. Surely sorbet should be served as a palate cleanser between savoury courses. (2) He got a smaller portion of the beautiful dessert, because he had 6 courses. Why? He had paid extra for the 6th course. Sensibly, Genuss-Atelier serves only wines from Saxony, so we did not know any of them. The waiter was particularly helpful here, and gave us a taste of each wine we were considering along with a taste of another wine of his own choice that he though we might prefer. Naturally, we found ourselves discovering several good wines that we would not otherwise have tasted. Overall, this was a splendid, relaxed meal."
