"We come to had dinner, the environment was not friendly, no English menu or speakers. The food was fair but not something to remember. We asked for the best dish of the place, pancakes, and it was served barnes. Overall does not deserve the special drive."

"We are a family of five (10, 7, 2 yo's) and we're looking for a nice dinner out. We heard of a restaurant in the woods from fellow travelers and after looking around found the Sattelbauer. What a find!!Firstly, the drive to the restaurant is up a winding road in the middle of a forest (great buildup!) and once you are up at the top, the entire Flachau valley is spread below. There's a children's playground and a small petting zoo outside, but as it was a little chilly we opted to sit inside. The inside was nice and warm with an authentic rustic decor. The menu was only in German but our waitress was extremely pleasant and patient and explained everything in English (I forgot her name... Sorry!). Her recommendations were spot on and the dinner was delicious. The younger kids had chicken nuggets with fries while I had the venison dumplings (delicious!!), my wife had a grilled trio of pork, chicken and veal (delicious!!) and my oldest had classic Wiener schnitzel (delicious!!). The dinner was perfect! The bill was 75 EUR and included a round of drinks (beer for me), desert and coffee. If you are in the area, you have to eat here!"

"Tak til TripAdvisor for at finde denne restaurant til os. Den ligger lidt væk fra hovedvejen og var derfor ikke en restaurant vi ville have stødt på. Rar og venlig personale, som var god til engelske. Super hurtigt betjening. Vi fik lidt forskelligt fra menukortet; bl.a pizza og grillmenu (billede.) Det var altsammen rigtig godt. Tjeneren kom med gratis dessert til børnene - hvilket var et stort hit. Vi bestilte en rigtig god kaffe (som tjeneren så glemte - men til gengæld gav gratis).En restaurant vi vil besøge igen, hvis vi er i området."
