I had a great time in Gallo Pelón Mezcaleria, definitely the best bar experience of my life! The staff (Lydia, hopefully the spelling is not bad) was very helpful and answered all my questions and taught me a lot about mezcal and tequila! Walked 5 blocks to go here on Friday night and arrived at 815pm only to be told they were not allowing people upstairs anymore that night. Sat us at the bar downstairs but didn’t tell us that the menu wouldn’t include anything from upstairs. Why be a bar in DTR if you are never open at night?? View all feedback.
