Sopranos Grill - Raleigh

My mother and i had an awfully stressful week and decided to come here for dinner as a treat. the atmosphere is so amazing, beautiful decor and music very calm and relaxed. the wine was delicious and the food is beyond words!! we enjoyed EVERY bite! we were recommended the creme brûlée by other patrons and WOW! absolutely amazing! we’ll be coming back again and again! BEST RESTAURANT EVER!

Sopranos is a family run, authentic Italian place. Other reviewers have complained about price but this is a fresh Italian restaurant and I personally believe the prices (including the mandatory gratuity) are more than reasonable. Excellent service and every meal we've had has been better than the last!

This is the only Italian restaurant I want to eat at when I'm in North Carolina! Upon entering, I immediately felt at home. The owner and his parents provided exceptional service. My family and I celebrated my niece's 17th birthday there, and it was unforgettable. The white sangria was fantastic! The food was generous in portion size and made from scratch, just like in Italy. I've never been to an Italian restaurant that ticked off every item on my list until I dined here. I will definitely return with my wife so she can experience what I did.

Despite this, the chicken Parmesan dish I ordered was delicious and moist, with enough leftover for another meal. I also tried the Alfredo pasta dish, which was filled with chicken, scallops, shrimp, and clams. The portion size was generous and the flavors were enjoyable. Overall, I would not recommend this place for a first date or romantic outing, but I would still return without hesitation for a casual meal.

I usually don't get excited about Italian food, but I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and will definitely return. While I can't vouch for the authenticity of the food, I can say that it was delicious and everyone in my party enjoyed it. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the portion sizes were generous. I chose this restaurant because it's local and was able to get a table quickly. Despite its unassuming location in a less modern shopping center, the interior was nicely decorated and inviting. I visited around 4pm on April 16, 2022, so it wasn't too busy. The prices were reasonable, although they do include a 20% tip automatically on your bill. The server was friendly and attentive, making for a great overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others and will be returning in the future.
