What User doesn't like about Virgile:
The annex is an absurd place. DJ is absolutely killing it and specialty cocktails are very interesting and mostly delicious. The dance floor isn't super crowded which leaves me ample room to get ziggy with it. Its always a party in the annex. Once I ordered a dirty martini and it as disgusting maybe thats a me problem. Oh my Lord delicious food. The menu is short, but delicious. I order local fish call Trout with a beet flavor risotto, it was a bit spice but I love it like that. The only thing I would say it was not as expected was the Moscow Mule drink, it was in a mojito glass and the tasty was unbalanced. Other than that this place deserve a 5stars.
The cocktails delighted my wife and I was impressed by the teamwork of the two chefs. They cooked, plated, and washed dishes like a well-oiled machine, working hard as a duo. They were hustling as if they were in New York City. Those guys deserve a raise!
On my first visit to this restaurant with my friend who lives in North Carolina, we were warmly greeted by Manager Dusty, who showed us to our table. His humor, friendliness, and graciousness made us feel immediately welcomed and connected. Our server was also delightful, expressing her genuine happiness to work there because she loved the environment and everyone on the team. We ordered fried oysters, pork wild mushroom risotto, carbonara, and two drinks (a Royal Monach from the special cocktail menu and a Gin Fizz from the classic menu), all of which were incredible. The cocktails were perfectly mixed and presented beautifully, while the dishes were plated exquisitely, particularly the salt-plastered pan-seared scallops with carbonara and the tender pulled pork with wild mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious and personalized to perfection. Thank you for this wonderful dining experience!
The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. It may be a bit small, so I recommend going early. The food was delicious and the bartender pours generously. The location is also great, as it is conveniently located next to a parking garage, making it easy to access from within the city. I will definitely be returning for more!
