"In the past we have been regular customers of tropezina plage, both at the beach and the restaurant. Ever since they were bought by Chateau la Massardier or at least made an agreement with the luxury hotel I have no idea about the kind of contract that was negotiated , the attention granted to clients has changed for the worse. We booked a table for 4 for lunch and we’re given the worst table at the entrance of the establishment and right below the bar . When I asked for a different table, they took me to a an even worse one. My husband then tried to talk to the man in charge but was rather rudely told no other tables were available because the restaurant was ‘fully booked’, a perplexing if not nonsensical response given how we had made our reservation in advance just like any other customer. It was also 12.45 and the restaurant was almost empty. They could have easily assigned us a better table in order to make us happy. Perhaps worst of all, however, they should have recognized us as regular clients and should have welcomed us with more warmth. My recommendation is to avoid this place where customers are not treated well and not recognized as regulars. Even if you are a new client, you have the right to be welcomed and feel at home."
