"When you want a special meal on Rainy Lake, you get a reservation at Rainy Lake Grill. Although the inside seating area is small, nothing is nicer than a large table outside with friends. The highlight is the food. It is never the same old fare. My absolute favorite is the Gorgonzola steak Alfredo $22). Next time, I plan to try the shrimp and grits where else in Minnesota would one find that? With RKG and the the Cantilever across the street, Rainey has turned into a special place."

"This is a nice restaurant with great service and food. There is quite a selection of meals from sandwiches to full mains. I had fish and chips and my wife had the beef brisket sandwich. Both included freshcut fries with soup or salad. Some previous...reviews said that it was expensive but for fish and chips is fairly normal. Our waitress was very attentive and the meals came quite quickly. The restaurant is right downtown in a beautifully renovated old building with exposed brick inside. Not a lot of tables due to Covid but well separated. Great place to dine"
