Holiday Inn Rapid City-rushmore Plaza

The staff at this hotel was exceptional. The 2 front desk agents in the evening, the gentleman working the bar, the waitress at breakfast. Not one of them just doing their job. They were pleasant, helpful, genuine. We chose this hotel as it was dog friendly. It is also very people friendly. We loved the healthy dog treats in their grab n go market!Food drinks: We enjoyed breakfast. Breakfast can be pre-ordered and delivered to your room. They have a breakfast buffet and a regular menu in the restaurant.

Staff are very kind and informative of local tourist attractions. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy, but bathroom very small and no ventilation. Also, there are no usb ports in the rooms for the many electronics my family travels with.Rooms: 4/5

Had such a great stay here! This is my second visit thus far. The staff was so friendly and gave great service at the restaurant! Nico was serving a delicious prime rib with a smile and warm personality and loves his job! T was whipping up your own personalized delicious omelets and had such a fub personality and Ms Summer! Summer was my waitress and own little mixologist as she made her own twist on flavored mimosas! Ask her to surprise you! Again great staff! Also rooms have microwaves which most hotels are getting away from so that is an A in my book!

The internet in the large lobby of this convention center hotel is very poor. I had to stand at the front desk to access the internet on my computer. The front desk personnel are behind a large mounted plexiglass divider left over from covid that doesn't facilitate a friendly, welcoming environment.Rooms: 5/5

The hotel was nice. The room had a weird smell but other than was nice. Good breakfast and restaurant were good. So cool that they have a bar as well
