"I had the luxury of eating a purely homemade Swiss fondue from the Valais. Lovely staff, hardworking and smiling, assuring at every moment that I was comfortable and happy. I use a wheelchair, and everyone helped to make me feel at home with kindness and discretion. As to the fondue, it was so delicious that I decided not to feel guilty and finished the whole pot. A pearl of a restaurant for an authentic unpretentious Swiss evening."

"Great architecture/ambience, diverse good quality wine from local regions, speciality cheese dishes (fondue & raclette). Good service & knowledgeable staff. Must try the wine bar. As a starter,we tried walliserteller (local dried meat plate) which was really good."

"Restaurant Weidstuebli is about a 45 minute uphill hike from Leukerbad, but you are rewarded with amazing views. In wintertime, I guess you can ski right up to it. There's a large terrace area and an indoor area. The food was more or less normal Walliser specialities and Swiss food, but it was well prepared. I had the Walliser sausage (like a salami), and my wife really enjoyed (for once) her salad with, I think it was Goat's cheese? It was relatively full for lunch even in the middle of the week, so on weekends I'd definitely book. Service was also efficient and friendly, and the prices weren't crazy for a mountain Stübli."

"Fantastic place, where, at the moment, you could eat “La Chasse” I highly recommend the “Chaser Dish” which was absolutely amazing! The menu is always adapted with the season and all kind of food, even veggie or fish are well chosen products from the right area around or abroad. The service is always nice, smily welcoming. I definitely recommended this place. Enjoy Let your tastebuds get surprised .."
