"LA Locandina delivered to Brittas Bay yesterday. Really easy website. It was beautiful. We could not recommend it more. Fresh salads and gorgeous produce. Will definitely do this again for friends when you just don't feel like cooking."

"A little disappointed by Christy's tonight. It was a couple of years ago and it was good. Felt rushed with, given the bill before we even ordered Dessert! Did you book for eight, so why the hurry? Both dishes came without their sauces and turns out that the Chutney had run out with the Piri Piri chicken, but my friend was not told she had ordered something else if she had known. Average Sirloin Steak, not worth €27! Average Pavlova also. Friendly staff anyway."

"Ate hear recently. €30 for 3 courses, an extra €5 supplement for a Striploin steak. The steak was large and well cooked but the general standard of the food was very very poor and uninspiring. I can eat at a fab local restaurant with Michelen...Bib Gourmand for €40. Aldridge Lodge, Duncannon, Co. Wexford, about 10 leagues ahead. Frozen, very small prawns, shop bought croutons (why? , desserts did not seem homemade, lacking imagination or effort. Not any wonder the place was practically empty."

"Very casual eating, some low tables, some in decent height. a busy place, with families, children, high chairs, hectic and hard. Eating was really excellent. the salmon starter was plentiful, very well presented and very tasty. Veg soup was very good, came with a nice crispy crouton that would have been great with the salmon. chef please note. fish of the day was a touching frit of garnel, with noodles, veg and a soy sauce, very good to woman. my chorizo carbonara was perhaps the best carbonara I ever had. I asked about the recipe, but I'm still waiting. desserts were good even though they had a bit heavily dependent on chocolate. a little more variety would have been better. a good cheeseboard, with many Wicklow cheeses, rounded off a meal that until the standard of the more expensive hugo’s michelin rosette main restaurant. I'll be happy if I get the recipe for this carbonara."
