"The cafe is located at the north side of Bad Hofgastein where the location can be also reached by walking upto the hill. There is an amazing view where you can also get a little bit warm with sunbathing.The menu includes local desert tastes and typical coffee selections. "The new team has received the old fashionable look of this old guest house dining room that is neither cheesy nor pretentious in any way. The food is very good, attractive presented with good portion size. Prices are reasonable with friendly service. Hard to beat."

"We had been a larger group for lunch. We gathered a nice table at the terrace. I had Selchfleischknōdel mut Sauerkraut and a Weissbier. The meal was superb and tasty. Even the terrace was full, the service was impeccable and very friendly. As a plus...I had a stunning view of a range of mountains."

"This restaurant is close to the Zell am See train station and it is quite huge inside - as well as its menu. Normally I am carefull about the quality of the food if the restaurant offers big choice of meals, but I was surprised how tasty it was. I had a salad with turkey strips and roasted potatoes and it was delicious. My friend took some pasta which was not bad as well. It has two gardens and you can eat here almost everything from pizzas, pastas, salads, steaks, burgers. Our hotel Landhaus Marlies gave us a recommendation to come here and it was not bad choice. We came finally the next day as well."

"Great location overlooking Zell lake with fantastic views of the mountains. Ate here twice recently and both times service was very good as was the food. Prices seemed cheaper than in town too. Building is very spacious whilst obviously reasonably recent."

"The waiters are rude, the service is terrible, the food comes at different times, we’ve been here 5 times now with our organisation and always have had problems with food and service, we’ve been over charged, the waiters don’t own up to their mistakes and...are very rude, the food always comes at very staggered times, the food is very mediocre, overall quite terrible, only gets a 2 star rate for the scenic views"
