Minsky's Pizza - Raymore

I've been to Minsky's once and I can say with certainty that I am not a fan.I ordered the Papa Minsky's pizza. The only thing I could taste was the saltiness of it.The ambience was not good either, I found it a little depressing and dated.The service was good though. I believe only one server was working at the time, but she did well. She was friendly and attentive.

I came in and sat at the bar for 10min before anyone acknowledge me. There was no other customers. The people working were very slow and not upbeat. You need to get more punctual and energetic people in there or nobody will come in there especially since Johnny's just opened up in raymore. I was wanting to spend $100 that night but left after one drink I went to sleep.I would make a business decision very quickly or you will be out of business.

Love Minskys. Typically love this location and have never had issues with service. When they have a sign on the door that says large parties require reservation but no reservations taken Friday and Saturday nights that’s difficult. Usually our part of 10-13 show up by 530 and are seated with no issues. Last night we arrived to maybe a 25% full restaurant, and we were told the manager said they couldn’t seat us bc they’re low staffed. Sad. Speculating that if the manager keeps chasing away large parties that tip well, his low-staff issue won’t be going away anytime soon.

When visiting Kansas City, find a Minskys! It’s consistently the best pizza. The Raymore location particularly, is friendly and quick!

My family and I stopped in to eat last night after a family gathering. We did not know that parties of 12 or more had to make a reservation and we had 16 people in our party. After the young man at the counter told us that we would not be able to be seated, the manager then came out and gladly seated us. We were then able to enjoy Minsky's awesome pizza and enjoy our family time.A BIG shout out to the lady managing last night. You'll never know how much this meant to my family and I after our tough day. I hope someone will unknowingly pay it forward to you!
