Just after renovation, we could really appreciate new terrace, which looks perfect: elegant, with South safari style, not bling bling St Tropez overdo. Great views, nice plants. Service was perfect we were numerous and they managed to serve us at the same time. What randjcheshire doesn't like about La Praya:
Not a good experience! Our table reservation had been lost, the bar and restaurant do not talk to each other so we had to pay our bar bill before going into the restaurant (48 euros for two small beers and two G&Ts! , fortunately the food in the restaurant just about made up for the poor service, we were overcharged for the wine, the menu is OK; a couple of the outside tables have excellent views over the Med View all feedback.
These people will invite you in politely but that’s where the courtesy stops. They rush you in and out and try to seat you outside to make it look like they have a lot of visitors. I should have read the reviews first. I was charged $35 for a small hot chocolate and plain crepe, nothing on it. The servers are very rude. Waste of time and rip off. The server was staring in my wallet talking about the cash I had. DON’T GO HERE!!!!!!!!
Very slow service, no coordination and unprofessional. Food is nothing out of the ordinary and sometimes served cold.
You have so many vegan options here it is great. Love all pizza and pasta dishes
I really think this restaurant has so much potential. The view from the restaurant if you're seated outside is absolutely gorgeous especially when the sun is setting. The selection of food on the menu is okay. We ordered the steak for 2 people and it was brought to our table and cut by our table and served. The server took so long cutting the steak that it was freezing by the time we actually got to eat it. The same thing happened to 2 people who ordered the seabass to share the server preparing it at the table took so long and did such a messy job that it didn't look appetising at all. I really think this place would improve hugely if the servers were a little friendlier more accommodating. The food is lovely and the location is gorgeous
From the very kind and eager young lad who took our luggage and helped me park the car to the rest of the front desk team, everyone made us feel so welcome. They were courteous, efficient and always with a bright smile on their faces. They assisted us a couple times with restaurant reservations and even explained to us the best itinerary to each place we wanted to visit. Melisa (i think that was her name) was a star well spoken and quite funny. The housekeeper was very efficient and nice too. So was the long hair lad on the beach. Cant say the same of all the restaurant staff but maybe it was a bad night. Overall we are looking forward to another stay at Le bailly Merci beaucoup!
