What R likes about Côte Brasserie Reading:
I don't feel Cote gets enough love, hence the 5 stars. It is one of the few chain restaurants where I have never had a bad dining experience and the Reading branch is an exemplar of that. I came for brunch and the brunch menu was fun and tasty. Great service with a lot of care taken for their diners. Considering it was quite busy I think that speaks highly of the quality of the staff and how it's being managed. read more.

What Keeley Patel doesn't like about Côte Brasserie Reading:
The service was extremely slow. We only had 2 courses in the 2.5hrs we were there. When we challenged the staff about the wait time they said they were busy with a booking of 20 people upstairs (we later discovered there were only about 10 people upstairs). The portions were quite small and therefore not great value for money. Overall we were very disappointed and won’t be going back to that branch of Cote again. read more.

"The staff were friendly and helpful with advising what the meals contained and helping me pick when i was undecided. The restaurant itself had a very authentic Italian feel and this was also given off by the staff who worked there. The food was great quality and the sizes were also really good would highly recommend over bigger named Italian restaurant chains!"

"From beginning to end. we received the highest degree of service and eat in a fabulous safe environment. a return for my parents, but my first time .. and it surpassed my expectations by far! the personal was informatiw and so friendly. from the surrounding greetings was clear that many of the customers return customers and nino and his personal would take the time to deal with them. a good sign of extraordinary foods was the fact that I enjoyed myself immensely and still food envy the 3 other meals we had at our table. they will not be disappointed, but may be pampered by the incredible taste and quality. in addition is nino jr. went out of his way to maintain the charismatic Italian atmosphere while offering a safe environment during the pandemic. take the time to choose screens that do not distract from the device, but a safe place to eat. we will come back next time in pangbourne! thanks for a nice night!"

"First visit for a couple of years to an old favourite. Despite the genial owner apologising for possible slowness due to cost of living pressures (use it or lose it! we were served as efficiently as ever. The feijoada (Brazil’s national dish was to die for, as ever; rissoles and other unusual sides were great too. Also a wide selection of amazing cakes and regional ingredients. Still a hidden gem in a quiet corner of Reading, but if you haven’t been, you’re missing out on a real treat."
