What Tina Batchelor likes about The Earley Retreat:
This is our favourite place to go locally, we love the huge variety of both the main menu and the kids menu. The foods always good and its great value for money. The staff are a friendly bunch too. We haven't had a bad meal here in the 5 years we have been going. Top place! View all feedback.

Nowadays, there are many places where you can eat ale at a British pub. However, here’s a stubborn ? It’s noble to say that there’s an ale that doesn’t cool. I had a kidney pies and sausages, but I didn’t say that it was delicious for my flattering. It is said that there is a lot of rice in the United Kingdom, but half of the pub is a little bit. "First visit for a couple of years to an old favourite. Despite the genial owner apologising for possible slowness due to cost of living pressures (use it or lose it! we were served as efficiently as ever. The feijoada (Brazil’s national dish was to die for, as ever; rissoles and other unusual sides were great too. Also a wide selection of amazing cakes and regional ingredients. Still a hidden gem in a quiet corner of Reading, but if you haven’t been, you’re missing out on a real treat."
