The Gorge is located on the roundabout at Caversham Bridge. This Cafe is all about all day English Breakfast. Before 10am it's the Early Bird; egg, bacon, toast, sausage beans or mushrooms. You have option to swap items. If you are up for it The Gorge Special is ginormous. Staff are friendly. The tables are kept clean. The decor is basic but then it's all about the food ! Today we visited this cafe for breakfast as we have done on a Sunday for the last few months and were refused entry for not wearing a face mask, after informing the owners we were exempt we were told we had to provide proof………. Government advice clearly states proof is NOT required at any time……. Rather hypocritical considering staff WERE NOT WEARING MASKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is disability discrimination and a criminal...
