Very welcome stop on the drive to Clifden from Galway in strong headwinds. Big menu friendly staff burger chips and salad was amazing great portion to help me in my travels View all feedback.

What Chloe Watts doesn't like about Joyce's:
Stopped by here on the way back from Kylemore Abbey. Food was fine. Couldn’t help but notice the Indian family with a special needs daughter leave the bar after waiting at the table with no service for 30 minutes, while white families were waited on that came in AFTER this family. Small pub in the middle of nowhere. Warm service and simple but tasty local cuisine. Great discovery.

"We went here for lunch and it was really good. My husband had the Cod and chips with salad and mushy peas and really enjoyed it. I had a Toasty cheese and bacon sandwich which was delicious. The waitress who served us was very attentive and helpful. Their apple tart and ice cream is gorgeous. We both enjoyed it. We have been here before and we think it’s a great place to stop for food and refreshments and is near Connemara National Park. The scenery around it is beautiful. We will be back and would recommend it to everyone .All the staff we met were tops."
