"I enjoyed the chicken, good taste not too salty not dry. The price is good here too. The potatoes were very good. The corn was very good. The green beans were okay. This is definitely a place I would go back to. Just know if you go on Sunday, everything they eat is the chicken meal."

"Great spot. Meets—if not, exceeds—expectations. Busy, but the wait was tolerable, service was good, and the food was too! Prices are reasonable. "We went to Red Bud for a funeral and kind of stumbled at the Opera Bistro. We appreciate old architecture and rejoiced that this building was built in 1860. When we mentioned this, our server offered Erin and gave us a mini tour through the building. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and tortilla soup she said she was the best she ever had. I had the black catfish that had great taste. We both had the glazed carrots that were excellent. We were feeling at home and had a nice conversation with the owner on the way out when she also knew our friend who left. I would definitely recommend this place, and if we're ever back in Red Bud, we'll stop again."
