My first experience with Filipino food was eating Budol Fight with friends. The table was laid with plastic and covered with banana leaves. The "table" was laid with a large helping of rice down the middle. A healthy helping of spit roasted pork and chicken on top of the rice with a mound of vegetables and a few pieces of springroll in front of each person.
