Cotta Cafe - Red Oak

I was very surprised. Good product, wonderfully decorated environment, appropriately priced. Bad service. Surprised that a company would put that much into a restaurant and then turn it over to a group of 5 or 6 teenagers to run with no visible management there. Tables were left un-bused all around us, the young woman working the counter was absolutely unknowledgeable of their products and wanted to argue with us about requesting something directly off of their printed menu. I plan on communicating this with the owner of this franchise. Don't want to end up losing this restaurant from our community. We need it here, but people will not patronize an establishment that is unkept or where the employees walk around giggling at each other like they are at Six Flags.

I believe this business changed their mind and is not going to open at all.

Started ok. Cheese bread fine. Then 3 minutes later my entree came. My husband's never did. 45 minutes later after finishing my dinner and being up to the counter twice to ask for a box and tell them just to box his, we sat and waited another 10 minutes and witnessed a server put the wrong food on the wrong table then just walk away. When he was brought back to the table and told what happened, he took the plate out from under the person and walked to the table next to it and put it down in front of the guy that actually ordered it... Not make a new one. Had to go up a 3rd time and stand there until the calzone we ordered an hour and 5 minutes earlier was put in a box so we could leave. Management was extremely nice, comped our meal, and offered a gift card for the next visit, but my husband declined the gift card.

We ate here today (May 21, 2020) and one of our people with us ordered the Taco Salad as advertised on the menu for $6.49. we all ate, and the check came and it was written out as $7.99. When we asked about it the man (Eugenic) serving us said that anything with ground beef was not under any special deals. We asked why we were not told about that beforehand and he said everything is on facebook . Given that attitude we asked to speak to a manager, while we were talking to th

Their food is delicious. It is one of our favorite places to eat in town.
