We had the regular fish, a good portion nicely cooked and the batter was pleasant, I.e. not greasy or oily. The portion of chips was extremely generous but they were not hot, but acceptable. Absolutely disgraceful, I’m 70 and never ever had worse fish and chips. Cold chips. Loads of burnt crispy ends that must have been cooked at least five times over, the most strange batter, thin, soggy and pale. Fish was wet and slimy. I felt ill just looking at them, tried a little mouthful and put them straight in the bin. Avoid at all costs as they will put you off fish and chips for life.
